History and achievements: Rungta College of Engineering and Technology (RCET) began its establishment in the academic year of 1999 in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. It is run and managed by the Santosh Rungta Group of Institutions and affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai. It offers diploma, UG, PG and PhD programs in engineering, management and computer applications. It is approved by the AICTE and NAAC accredited with an ‘A’ grade, it is also accredited by the NBA. It also made its name in the top 100 colleges list of NIRF,  ARIIA Rankings awarded it in Excellent Category and in Top 50 Colleges in India in terms of Innovation and Incubation.
